I apologize for not putting up more drawings this last couple of days, besides being busy, the internet hasn't being working too well for me lately, i hope i can get it fixed soon, in the meantime the 4X4 it's still on, and even probably with the participation of a super pro!

5X5, From here I jump!

Hi Everyone!, It's me, Alejandro Altamirano, I'm looking into the possibility of organizing an 8 X 8, to the people that aren't familiar with the exercise, it's about drawing 8 pages comic in 8 Hrs., several creators gather, those who have the will to work, a theme is chosen in that moment and the time starts running!. Originally it was 24 X 24, but it went down to 8 X 8, but it could be 6 X 6 or 4 X 4, i don't know why is only on even numbers, why not 5 X 5... The idea is to learn and have a good time, getting started in comics. this will take place at the Concomics, this Feb. the 8th, i'm talking with the organizers to seek for their support, also to the people invited to the event (Oscar Gonzalez Loyo, Rene Cordova, Quetzal,etc.), but it will depend if you guys want to participate on this, This Monterrey event was organize in 4 days!!! I know we can make it happen too! What I'm working On...

I'm following what's done in Balazo Productions, a Phobos and Deimos Project,"Recuerdos"(Memories), my first project, I'm working on it again, and another project that doesn't have a name yet, from this two, Recuerdos is one I'm probably going to continue working on.

What the ... what is this rat doing here?, since there was a pet expo one of the pets manage to make it all the way here, lots of people that are not too familiar with comics came to the event, thanks everyone.

"Comic Garage" Report, Second Part

Here are some more pictures of this Event that took place at the ExpoGuadalajara, It's good to mention that there was more than one event: there was another one about toys, and another one about pets. This cause that people (Parents and their kids) that went there to do so Christmas shopping, buy some toys or a pet, and why not going taking a look at the Comic Garage Convention too; and it was great to see the parents getting excited about getting a caricature of their kids or even of themselves, they were the more excited about it!

"Comic Garage" Report, First Part

The Comic Garage was an event where several graphic artists (and me), got together. This happen inside of the Concomic outlet, 13th and 14th of last December; where the people was able to know comic artists from different comics, buy their work, and just have some fun!.
Next some pictures of the event:


There was a little bit of everything, here there was not so many people, but look a the girl dressed as a cow, it's just an example of what you were able find


That's me with nUK9, such a good guy, and his drawings are pretty good too.


Among the artists was Mauricio Herrera, a great Chilean illustrator.


One of the tables, surrounded by curious people, their work caught the eye of many.


Rene Cordova, Organizer of the Event: He Showed his new comic, "Soulkeepers", the people that were there got the #0 for free, nice!!!, plus the autographs of the creators.

Well hello everyone, i hope you all have a good fresh start in this new year...

I feel satisfied with this last year that just ended, especially, this last 3 months,(well, becoming a father changes you), and about this "comics" thing, I'm here to stay, really, make myself visible in this genere, I'll see how many conventions i can go to, if i get invited, and i will also continue publishing, anyway, work, work, work.
